St Thomas News - 18th January 2021

Dear Church,

I hope you enjoyed the All Age service yesterday - it provided an introduction to a few weeks thinking about 'security' in these times of uncertainty. This coming Sunday, Sam will be speaking and Erin leading worship: join as usual on the Zoom (ID 631 970 6882), on Facebook or on YouTube.
(I'll be joining the St Wulstan's Zoom service this week).

Thanks to all those who have completed the Lockdown Survey - if you haven't, please take a couple of minutes to do so, it will really help us plan what to do while we are in lockdown. Hopefully we'll be getting in touch about comments and suggestions soon!

Keep an eye on Facebook/YouTube for new videos - Sam has uploaded some thoughts on Revelation, so do take a look!

One idea Joanna Greenman has had is that it would be great to have different people/families recording the Lord's Prayer or lines from it that she could edit together so when we say it together on Sunday we get to hear from different people. If you'd be happy to be involved, you can either take a video on your phone and send it to Jo via Whatsapp (her number is 07947857299), or if you would struggle to do this but can do Zoom, you could contact Jo (email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to arrange a short Zoom call which she could then record to use.

And a reminder of the great encouragement that we are beloved children of God in this difficult time, from Galatians 4.6-7: Because you are his children, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

God bless,

Al
