St Thomas News 5th March 2021

Dear Church Family,

Join in again this Sunday when Rob Hazell will be speaking to us from John 4, where Jesus meets the Samaritan woman. (By the way - who's the biggest person in the Bible? The woman of Samaria - some area, geddit?). Join on Zoom (631 970 6882), Facebook or YouTube.

I'll be on the St Wulstan's Zoom this week - our PCC will be having a meeting with the Archdeacon on Tuesday to talk about the relationship between St Thomas' and St Wulstan's, so please do pray about all this!

I've recorded a new video looking at Romans 14, and how relate to one another when there are issues about which we might have different opinions. This may well happen as we make decisions about our worship and activities as we come out of lockdown, as well as the plans for the church building. Please do have a look.

As we do enter this period of gradual opening up, please do pray - about what we might do and how you might be involved. Our highest priority is to hear and obey God, and to follow his direction at this time of new beginnings.

Sunday: Bible Reflection over Zoom led by Marian and Phil. This week, we will especially be reflecting on Jesus' question, 'what do you want me to do for you?' - all are welcome, and this will be on Sunday at 7pm on the usual church Zoom: 631 970 6882.

The return of the St Thomas LOCKDOWN QUIZ! Celebrating the return of children to school and indeed the day of international women, Eddy will be hosting another quiz on Monday 8th March. Please get in touch with Maya (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to find out more or register your team (or ask to join one). More teams would be good, so get in touch!

God bless,

Al
